Working on a decoder wheel to send my penpal.   I'll print two out and then we'll have our own custom set to use.  I can't seem to decide on colors but I do have the basic style figured out now.  I first had it purple and green but then I came back to it and thought... nah. I am making this way more complicated than it really needs to be.  So tonight:  NO WORKING ON IT! Too sick with the flu, headache, fever, and pains to focus on anything.  I want to do bookbinding, embroidery, drawing and... I am barely functioning tonight.

Bookbinding is slow but going okay. Pamphlet binding was quite easy to do today as I found out using this tutorial by ThePressGang-ink. :thumb280698682: Though, look at the pictures AND the words.  There's a step there I think missing the info that after you go int he middle hole, you need to go through and out the bottom hole before you do the top hole.  The photo shows it but either I missed it (because I'm pretty medicated today) or it's not there in text?  It's a fantastic tutorial and the pamphlet stitch is super easy! Give it a try, just fold some paper, make a mini notepad with some ribbon, string, thread, whatever... and off you g

Trying to make myself draw every day, even if it's just little doodles.  The plan is after doing some bookbinding today to then draw a couple goofy cats. Yes. Like my penpal said to me recently:  "Try to draw every day, Lovey.  It's good for you to draw."
